Harold and Bevelly Mitchell honour 33 medical scholars
On 6 June, Harold and Bevelly Mitchell hosted a function to honour 33 promising young medical scientists who have recently travelled overseas to present their work at seminal conferences and receive mentoring and support from leading medical specialists, thanks to an annual grant from the Harold Mitchell Foundation. They are bringing this experience back to Australia, and will continue to benefit well into the future from collaboration at the highest levels of medical science. This is an exciting activity to support because we are equipping our young scientists with the experience, cutting-edge knowledge and professional links that will let them make a major difference to medical science in Australia and throughout the world.
